Thinking about peacock husbandry

We can see so many turkeys at the backyard but rarely do we find people raise peacock. We can see the peacock at zoo or some rich people. In my country, some people raise to domesticate this beautiful bird. I think it is not wrong to raise the bird at your house as long you have that large house or pen for the bird. The bird tail especially the rooster has long beautiful tail so its need the large pen. The peacock will be sick if they have small pen. We can raise the bird as the meat too. I think the size is also large like turkey and we can sell its feather. People love the roster feather because it is very beautiful.

I saw some chicken eat chicken bone

I saw some three month age chicken eat the chicken bone. chicken is omnivore which means they can eat both meat and vegetable. They can eat insect, worm, mite, and they can eat grass, paddy, wheat, flour and so on. I am worried the chicken will gonna mad after eat chicken bone. I hear the mad cow disease occur because the cow eat the meat cow. Supposedly the chicken owner house the chicken so they will not eat the chicken bone. The chicken bone must be bad for the chicken. They can feed chicken with common chicken food such as grain, seed, grass, and insect. Read Also The chicken breed that right for you Japanese Bantam

The battery hen suffered

Perhaps one of the most suffered chickens is battery hen. They live at
small flock and they cannot walk moreover run. They just sit and stand
at the battery. The activity of the hen is limited. They cannot see
the tree, grass, or other animal they just can see other battery hen
that adjacent of them.
The farm places the hen to battery in order to raise the production of
eggs. They want the hen lays 300 eggs in a year so the farmer can take
the benefit from it. The farmer or the animal husbandry thinks that
the hen is similar to a machine. They insert some grain and got the
eggs.
The farmers raise the chicken up to years. After two years, the farmer
removes the hen from the battery which most of them end at the
slaughter. Raise old hen is not profitable because the egg production
decline after two year.
The eggs are not too good to because it contain more fat. It is not
good for fat people or sick man.
I think the farmer must change the battery system. The farmer should
notice the animal welfare. It is better to keep them at the meat the
backyard so they can move free. They can also eat some fresh grass and
weed or they can chase the bad insect such as grasshopper and other.
They can talk to the other chicken. The eggs must be better than the
battery hen's eggs.
I believe when you act animal good, the animal will give you benefit.
When you act bad them, the animal will act bad too.

American Giant Runt : The greatest Squab

You must be confused when you see this giant bird because it weighs
three times of common pigeon. The Giant Runt may be the greatest
pigeon in the world. This American breed pigeon weighs up to 1.4
kilogram or almost three times bantam chicken weight.
I thin the pigeon provide s much squab. That is why the bird is raise
for its meat. Actually the bird comes from Spain and France. The word
of Runt means common but this bird is not "common".
The bird is not different to its ancestor or the rock dove except its
size. The head is large, massive broad, denoting strength and
boldness. The beak is wide and fairly thick. The wattles are not big
like other fancies pigeon. The most pigeon eyes is pearl except the
white whose has bull color eye.
The bird has medium size in length. The wing span is also medium. That
is why, the fancier do not love the bird for homing. The body of the
runt is also broad. The bird provides the deep and brad breast meat.
The shank and toes are red in color. The Giant Runt color is blue,
silver, Dunn, yellow, white, grizzle, blue grizzle, black, white, blue
bar and other.

Why farmer does not like White leghorn?

In my country, the layer farmer does not like white leghorn though the hen could lays 300 eggs in a year. The farmer prefers the RhodeIsland Red than the leghorn because the shell of the eggs is thicker than the leghorn. It is too risky to bring the thin shell eggs in my country; reminding the transportation in our country is not good.
Most of the leghorn’s eggs have broken when the wholesaler brought the eggs to the market. Perhaps the bad road has broken the eggs.
Second, the consumer also does not like white shell eggs. They prefer the brown shell eggs than the white. I do not why? Perhaps we should research why people loves the brown eggs than the white eggs.
Though people do not like the leghorn, some chicken lover also seeks the leghorn especially the Bekisar Farmer. The farmer crosses the green jungle fowl male to the leghorn hen to produce white Bekisar.

Marsh Daisy

It is an English chicken breed that descendant of Old English Game rosters and The Malay Hen. Some breed also tied with Marsh Daisy includes Sicilian Buttercup, Black Hamburg and White Leghorn. The name Marsh daisy comes from its come that similar to Marsh Daisy flower. The comb is similar to Rose comb. The other unique characteristics are willow green legs and white earlobes. The marsh name takes from a marsh-like area.
The most common of Marsh Daisy is wheaten and brown and others color variation is white, buff and black. The chicken is light type of chicken, a male is 2.95 kilogram (6.5 pound) in weight and a female is 2.5 kilogram (5.5 pound). The hen lays a fair amount of tinted eggs.
It is ideal for barnyard chicken due it is a good forager and it is hardy. It could control the grass or weed population. I must warn you the chicken has flying ability so it can jump from your backyard; however, the chicken is calm but it is active.
The chicken is rare, listing at Rare BreedSurvival Trust at England.
