Raise Chicken in landfill

 i took the photo at the landfill, where there is a lot waste and rubiish on there. this place is a transift before any rubbish dump in final place. there are so many plastic that you can see at the photo. you must be difficult to find any chicken in this photo. 

It is common prcatice in underdeveloped country to raise chicken or cattle in landfill. it is cheaper than raise chicken in the flock. 

There are some risk raise chicken in the landfil such as: 

1. disease transmition. the landfill is full of disease. the chicken eat the rubbish may bring some danger diseases such as salmonellea and avian flu

2.the lack of nutrition . rubbish is bad food and lack of nutirion. 

3. i believe there is such toxic in landfill. the pestiside can kill the chciken. 

4. the chicken also spread the waste. they use the feed to find but it spread the waste 

5. Either the Meat and the egg is not health. what chicken eat influence the meat and egg quality. 

My chicken plucks its own feather

 

I feel so pity my chicken pluck its own feather. It also eats the feather. I feel so guilty to see my chicken done it. Is suspect I have some mistake in raising them. Well, I raise in large enough coop. the air is so fresh but I cannot guarantee the air quality of my town is good. There are so many factory and vehicles that make the air is so bad.

Raise a chicken or some chicken in my house is not suitable. The weather is so hot. It sunny season and the rain is so low. The extreme of weather make the chicken pluck their own feather.

Actually, the house is little. We are lack of the free space. I dream someday I have large enough house where I can raise two or three chicken at there.

There is some reason why chicken pluck their own feather. One reason is mites and parasites. The mites make the chicken discomfort. The chicken plucks the feather in order to remove the mites from its feather.

Some chicken just gets one kind of chicken feed that is lack of nutrients. They chicken eat its feather in order to fulfil the nutrient need. The owner should provide various chicken feed or they can raise the chicken at free range that provide so many chicken feed. At the limited place, a chicken just receive food from it’s own master. Sometimes we find the owner just feed them with rice or pollard only.

Live in limited place also make the chicken bore. They become stressed. The chicken usually lives in a group or pen, where they can interact to other and it make them happy. With limited place they can go to anywhere and find some food out there. Plucking its own feather make them have a job to reduce its stress. Certainly, it hurt them.

I saw some three month age chicken eat the chicken bone. chicken is omnivore which means they can eat both meat and vegetable. They can eat insect, worm, mite, and they can eat grass, paddy, wheat,flour and so on. I am worried the chicken will gonna mad after eat chicken bone. I hear the mad cow disease occur because the cow eat the meat cow. Supposedly the chicken owner house the chicken so they will not eat the chicken bone. The chicken bone must be bad for the chicken. Tips on how to keep our chicken in rainy season

In tropical country, the rainy season is a problem for chicken lover. The rain season occurs six month in a year. The cloud often cover the sun shine; whereas, we need the shine to kill the disease in the pen or chicken feather. Some virus include avian influenza cannot stand with sun shine.
Most chicken got sick in rainy season. The diseases attack the chicken in a cage easily. The reason why the chicken got sick is the cold weather. The cage is also wet so the disease can grows at it.
To prevent the chicken from sick my aunt has tips. She used to not using medicine or vaccine. She prefers to use the traditional ways to prevent the chicken from sickness. She is a veterinary who works for government office. She raised over 350 chickens near her home.
She has a principal to keep the chicken satisfied. He provide the chicken food ad libitum.He provide the newly harvest corn grain. She provides the best food for her chicken. She also feed the chicken with paddy. I believe the fresh chicken food contain more vitamin than the old chicken food. The vitamin will decrease if you save the food on the storage the vitamin may decrease.
She also adds Vitamin B complex to the chicken drink. It may increase the chicken immunity.

Marek's Disease or Paralaysis Disease, Kill Broiller fast

Marek's disease is the most dangerous disease for broiler farmer. This disease infects the chicken under 16 week’s age. Until now, there has yet no medicine for this disease. This medicine spread from saliva or respiratory system. The disease is easy to spread at a cage. It could kill all chicken in cage.

This disease caused by a herpes virus. It attacks the chicken nerve system.

The chicken that is infected by the virus will suffer paralysis. The chicken may die soon because they cannot reach the food and water. Some chicken that get acute Marek’s may not shown paralysis sign.

To prevent your chicken from Marek’s disease, you should clean the cage periodically. Remove the Marek's suspected chicken and you should eliminate it.

There are some signs that you can detect, such as:

1. Vision impairment
2. Loss of weight
3. Grey iris or irregular pupil
4. Paralysis of legs, weight, and neck
5. Skin around feather follicles raised and roughened.
