How to make the chicken feed

For farmers who want to intensify his efforts, he should make his own feed. Chickens will not be enough to receive a simple form of feed grains and vegetables only. To provide the food we have to make your own because until now there has been no plant that can make the feed free-range chicken. Generally been the use of feed broiler breeders that are expensive. Broiler feed prices also surged sometimes is volatile.

For that we should draw on chicken feed there are some formula examples as below. To feed a small chicken needed a powder feed, for adults chicken can be given pellets.
Pellets are highly preferred by chickens and can save feeding. If a feed fine powder feed or chicken would be wasted and more frequent drinking, so the chicken just spends a little food.
Making the pellets is not difficult at all. The tools used are seeds grinding machine and meat grinder. Both these tools are not cheap but this tool can last a long time. The steps to make pellets are as follows:
1. Prepare the coffee bean grinder tool and meat grinder.
2. Collect the pellet material in the form of grain, meat meal, fish meal and bone meal, and others.
3. Milled coarse grains such as corn, soybeans, green beans, sorghum and other cloth.
4. Combine all ingredients into a container and stir until blended. Enter the water and form dough until like a paste.
5. Enter the dough into a meat grinder and turn the crank. Absorb these printouts that resemble noodles into the container can be a winnowing tray.
6. Drying of pellets in outside to dry. The purpose of drying is to reduce the water content in the pellets for pellet durability.
7. Once dry, put the pellets into a sack and can be used directly. Save pellets into a dry and tight.

Mixing food
Besides pellets, breeders can also provide a mixture of grain and flour as food adult chicken. The trick is not difficult that we need is a container for mixing the feed material. If we feed a mixed lot we need a big mixer. Make it a container of a barrel kegs. Create a shaft at the top and bottom, before closing the top of the hole. Create a buffer for the shaft and the upper side can be added to rotate the crank for vat.

King Pigeon: The King of Squab

To produce squab or pigeon meat, you need to raise pigeon king. Pigeon King has wide breast and the weight is more than 500 grams or half kilogram. This pigeon is almost similar to bantam chicken in size.
The body is round but the tail narrow. I think this bird could not fly far. The nose is small and the bill is short at curved at the edge that is similar to the ancestor rock dove. The feet are red and have no feather.
Pigeon King has color variation, such as, white, black, and brown. The best pigeon king is white king pigeon whose has the reddish meat. The meat color of white king pigeon is the best than other king pigeon.
White pigeon are raise in narrow cage. The breeder does not give wide space so they cannot move free.

How care pigeon baby when they are ignored by the parent?

The baby pigeon usually get care from the mother and parent but some mother may ignore a baby or all baby. It could happen because the mother is not a good mother.

If you have found the baby whose has no mother, you can raise the baby pigeon if you have much time. You have to care the baby very carefully unless they will die soon. In this article, I will explain the steps to care pigeon baby.

Newcastle Disease is an avian harmful diseases that could kill avian. This diaseas has been foudn in Newcastle, United Kingdom in 1926, As where is gets name.
This disease is seriously danger for poultry industry. It could kill all poultry population in an area. The scientist has not yet find the medicine for this disease; however, some there is ND vaccine that can protects poultry from ND. 
The virus can be spread from air, water, poultry feed, Chicken sick, chicken sick's manure, human, wild bird and others. Human may not bring ND diseases but their body, cloth, and shoes may bring the virus from other area; therefore, the owner should protect the flock are from other people. If they want enter the flock, they should wash their hand and feet.
The owner should keep the flock clean. They need to wash the flock routinely.
The sign of the chicken which get this diseases is uncretain. The symptoms is similar to other diseses's symptom. The Bird or Chicken that got sick is very difficult to breath (coughing and gasping). Some chicken show nervous sign such as depression, twisted neck, paralysis, musculars tremors, dropping wings, paralysis, circling,
To overcome this diseases, the farmer can prevent with ND vaccine. They should remove any suspected ND Poutry from the flock so they cannot infect other chicken.

Last criteria is the wide of the breast. The chicken should puff out the chest like arrogant. That is why Indonesian people call it arrogant chicken. 
A serama price is only $200 but when its get the championship the price is $ 6,000. To be honest I will not buy the expensive chicken. I could get this chicken for $25 from the farmer.

Ancona duck : The English Duck that is good for backyard

Ancona is a great duck which weighs 7 lbs and 6 lbs. This duck were originated in English in 18th century. This duck is a rare duck breed.

The duck is almost similar to Indian runner duck. It has S shape middle neck. The bill is medium in size and is yellow in color. The feet are yellow or yellow speckle in color.  The dominant color of the duck is white. Most duck has dark spot or spangles. They have color combination blue-white, brown-white, and, black-white.

This duck is a dual purpose duck that produce either meat or eggs. The hen lays 210 to 280 eggs in a year. This duck is productive like Indian runner duck. Some Ancona duck lays blue eggs like Indian runner but some Ancona also lays tinted eggs.

Ancona is good for your backyard due this duck like to eat grass and weed.
