icelandic Chicken : The Chicken From Cold Region

Before I write this article, I have asked myself whether there is chicken from cold region. I think about Icelandic where is far from other country

I search and find that there is a Chicken from Icelandic. This chicken medium size. The coclrele just can reach 2,5 lbs in five month; while broiler can reach 2 kilogram ini 60 days. 

The icelandic hen is good sitter. The hen brood it's egg. 

The chicken color is variety. The comb is also such as single, pea and combination. So this landarce chicken has no standards. In my country the chicken is also not standard. There are some cross breed such as silkie, Vietnam, bantam, and others.
