In previous post, I have told that I have a pair Sebright and Bantam Cross that is very beautiful. The seller often cross some chicken tonight chicken in order to produce a new chicken types. Off course. I can't say that the cross is a new breed because the cross is not a pure bird. When a cross mate with other it cannot produce new chicken like it's parent.
However, crossing the chicken makes money for the breeder. It also attracted the buyer to buy the cross. It must be pride when a collector show the cross to their collection.
I have ever read in article, a breeder has cross golden Sebright and silver Sebright. The descendants is similar to other parents unless its color plumage. The cross of the both Sebright is light brown and its different to both parents. The pattern is similiar. They have laced pattern, which black color at the edge of each feather.
I also read some breeder also offers the cross silkie and the Sebright. It must be unique. Either Sebright and Silke has different plumage. While the silkie has fuzzy plumage . I do not know the cross plumage. Will it descent the silkie plumage or the
